What do our clients say about us?

Chris delivered a great session that was packed with thought-provoking ideas and delivered in a dynamic style.
Richard Ensoll, June 2016

I booked with Chris after lots of recommendations from people that know Chris or have done courses with him. The course was exactly what I wanted and brilliant value, thank you for still running it even with low bookings.
Nathan Hughes, March 2017

A quality day spent rigging, looking at best practice and problem solving. Clearly Chris is a knowledgeable/professional instructor and set out the day in a relaxed and progressive manner. I would recommend this day with Chris for any person wishing to progress personal skills or who is thinking about Rock Climbing Instructor qualifications. Learnt and refreshed loads in an enjoyable environmentWell worth the day for those who wish to progress personal and group management skills.
Martin Bates, May 2018

Chris's knowledge, skills and experience are unsurpassed in comparison to any other provider He recognises what is required without you realising it. Fantastic, learned a lot including stuff I didn't realise I needed to know. Thank you for such a good and very full day. Brilliant.
Chris Little, July 2020

Prompt attention to contact and request for information. Immediately felt I would be comfortable. Chris clearly had a plan that he developed as the day proceeded. There was a very relaxed approach that suited well. Really liked the common sense approach rather than a dogmatic style. I felt I was encouraged to apply my own solutions as long as they were safe and appropriate. Initially challenged by the need to actually do some climbing, with hindsight I was so grateful for the gentle(?) pressure to get on the rock!
Dave Elson, July 2020

Just wanted to say a big thank you Anne for your slick and responsive admin support and a big big thanks to Chris for a fantastic day on his Masterclass on Monday. Chris imparted his vast and endless relevant knowledge with the enthusiasm and obvious passion for his trade that filled me with awe. I was instantly at ease and felt I was with my tribe long lost! It was such a boost to realise I hadn’t forgotten everything in the last 20+ years sat behind a desk! There is life in this old bird yet! I sang all the way home, something I’ve not done in long awhile!! I will certainly take advantage of the videos I didn’t have time to view and can’t wait to get out on the rock again this weekend.
Boo Stone, April 2021

From the moment I met Chris he came off as kind and approachable. He specifically asked me what I was hoping to achieve for the day and he went there and more. His knowledge is vast! I am a person that asks many questions - Chris did not make me feel silly for asking little things and was open to questions where we were able to chat about the pros and cons of choices to make an informed decision. I believe that early on he noticed I was nervous/ anxious/ not feeling confident and from then to finish I genuinely felt like a changed person. I now feel strong, able, smart and competent. I appreciated all the individual learning he was able to put to us in a group of three.  We were all on different paths and I honestly would have thought it was a 1/1 if the other members of the group weren’t there. On leaving and going back to my car I felt so good that I loved that when I went to give Chris a handshake he asked if I liked hugs. Honestly, after what can be an overwhelming day it felt great and I loved that he asked if I would be up for one. I needed it!!!! Thanks to Chris’s help I know I am capable, I am good enough, I can do this. That is WAY more than what I wanted to come away from a one day refresher so wow. I feel humbled. Also, Anne, thank you for your regular emails and updates and vast information with checklists/ postcodes/ additional needs.  Particular thanks to coins only parking! You made me feel able to beforehand ask stupid questions and didn’t be made to be silly. Most importantly (of course) thank you Bobby. Somehow he knew. In the moments I felt unsure and worried he was there for a cuddle. I’m amazed with how controlled a dog can be! I’ve come back to my collie telling her she needs to do better.
